Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom to Film in Hawaii Next Month

According to online sources, production for Aquaman 2 AKA Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will move from the UK to Hawaii to shoot beach scenes at Oahu’s Hālona Beach Cove starting in December.  Jason Momoa had been filming in the United Kingdom for the last few months, but will now move shop to Hawaii, a place near and dear to his heart.

According to The Aquaverse, the definitive online presence for Aquaman news in general, this is also the same beach where the film From Here to Eternity filmed its iconic love scene.

They also shared a new promotional poster for the movie, which can be seen below.

Additionally, and according to Reel News Hawaii, “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” (filming name of NECRUS) is prepping at Manoa Falls! Sources say filming will be 12/1 – 12/7 in the area by the container bridge. Also filming at Halona Covearound 12/1ish.  Here’s the full tweet:
